Position Overview: The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the transportation and logistics sector. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique transportation needs, and offering tailored solutions to meet those needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the transportation brokerage industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect and Develop New Business: Identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling. Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Continuously analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
• Solution Selling: Understand the full range of transportation services offered by the company and effectively communicate these solutions to clients. Tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Negotiation: Negotiate rates and contracts with clients to ensure profitability while maintaining strong relationships.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery. Provide feedback and insights to help improve service offerings.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this information to inform sales strategies and client discussions.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the transportation brokerage or logistics industry.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of transportation brokerage operations and services.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
o Strong negotiation and closing skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
• Attributes:
o Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.
o Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Compensation:
• Base Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
• Commission: Uncapped commission structure based on performance.
