Maintenance Technician


The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing electrical and mechanical services to support the needs of production and ensure safe operation of the plant. Experiences and knowledge with maintaining industrial equipment (reactor, blending vessel, dryer, heat exchanger, vacuum pump), packaging equipment (blister, bottle, box, label, pouch, sealer, wrap, box), and/or automated equipment (robotic, HMI, PLC) are desirable. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is also responsible for conducting Preventative Maintenance work, including the review and evaluation of its cost-effectiveness and performance. In addition, the Industrial Maintenance Technician will be working closely with the Engineering to implement continuous improvement initiatives and install new equipment.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Looking for Multicraft Technician with electrical and electronic experience.

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of production plan maintenance including electrical & instrumentation, pneumatics, utilities (chiller, compressed air, hot water, hot oil, and LNC), pumps, reactors, rotary equipment, pressure vessels, etc.

  • Maintain and repair mechanical equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of mechanical principles.

  • Preventative maintenance and routine maintenance of equipment and facility systems.

  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations.

  • Confer with management and other personnel to implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.

  • Plan and install of machinery and parts in line with design plans and timescales.

  • Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment. Including but not limited to the following: rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; work at heights; balance for extended periods of time.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications Required for this Position:


Education – no minimum education requirements.


Experience – 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.


Must be able to pass drug screen and background check, as a condition of employment.


Pay rate depends on experience.


This is a fulltime maintenance opportunity working 40 hours a week.  There is no per diem and no relocation funding.
