Job Summary
This role will primarily deal with building competency in the daily tasks of a IPS Design Quality Inspector I , with the intention of advancing to IPS Design Quality Inspector I within a reasonable amount of time, typically between one to six months. The role examines IPS engineering outputs and ensures that outputs meet requirements, via various inspection checks. The employee may be involved with developing and maintaining a controlled documentation system, outlining the interconnected relationships between various core system documents and process documents.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Learn and demonstrate the ability to inspecting final digital IPS outputs.
Learn and demonstrate the ability to understand IPS standards and requirements.
Learn and demonstrate the ability to maintain knowledge base of internal controlled documentation and the interconnected relationships between various documents.
Assure areas are kept in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Educational and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required.
Prior quality inspection experience.
Basic user of Microsoft Office applications.
Prior experience in Quality Systems preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Adhere and support KLS Martin's quality and safety policies and procedures.
Ability to retrieve and interpret documentation.
Ability to work in a team setting and independently under minimum supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally.
Knowledge of anatomy is a plus.
Problem solving & decision making /adaptability & flexibility.
