Job Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse



Duties & Responsibilities: Psychiatric Registered Nurse sought for 13 week assignment, with the potential to extend. Schedule would be 3x12 days, 7a-7p, with weekends as assigned and every other holiday. Hospital is an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for 18+ ages. There are 50 beds, 20 female and 30 male. Patients are voluntary so there are no restraints and no on-site security. Admin and Doctor are on call at all times. Visiting hours are Sundays 1-4p. Orientation is 2-3 days of 12 hour shifts training until comfortable. Candidates must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs, and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries.



Minimum Requirements:

• IA or Compact RN license


• 6-12 months of prior experience


• BLS


• CPI


• Must be able to do CIWA/COWS, UAs, and be able to set/hold firm empathic boundaries
