Your Role: Supervisor - Fill/Finish

This position will provide technical direction and supervision in their assigned biological or pharmaceutical production area according to company policies and corporate business plans. You will provide technical competence through proper selection and training the work force to insure a safe work place through proper training of the work force and to implement and maintain compliance status (cGMP, OSHA) within the department.

Shift: Friday-Sunday and every other Thursday, 6pm-6:30am

Your Responsibilities:

• Supervise personnel and activities to ensure the production of high-quality products, troubleshoot production issues, document findings, and implement solutions.




• Train personnel on scientific principles, GMPs, time management, technical requirements, and all relevant policies and regulations, keeping them up-to-date with necessary knowledge.




• Communicate departmental progress, challenges, employee actions, new ideas, and pertinent information to management; maintain professional coordination with other departments and team leaders.




• Administer company policies including safety programs and union contract terms, and recommend purchases of operating supplies and new or replacement equipment.




• Effectively schedule work for bargaining unit and technician-level employees, make recommendations on hiring, termination, and discipline of personnel, and participate in or chair relevant meetings and committees.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• BS + 1 years of relevant experience or AA + 3 years relevant experience or HS Diploma + 5 years relevant experience. 




• Demonstrated leadership ability and aptitude to train and utilize workers in a multi-faceted environment.




• Strong verbal and written communication, coaching, organization and teamwork skills. 

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

• Leadership experience preferred. 




• Preferred experience in biological/pharm production environment and biological/pharm manufacturing equipment.

• Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently.
