Job Description:

We are seeking a full-time General Laborer to join our Tie Treating plant in Winslow, IN. The starting pay for the position will be $21.89/hour.

POSITION OVERVIEW : Assists with manufacturing activities by performing the following duties:
\n
Shift Details: 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday
\n
Principal Responsibilities:
\n

\n
• Applies endplates by hand or machine
\n
• Operates banding equipment
\n
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials.
\n
• Assist in loading and unloading charges
\n
• Assist in storage by setting stickers and dunnage
\n
• Tag materials with proper product tags.
\n
• Cut dunnage.
\n
• Assist in cleaning work areas, painting and maintaining property, plant and equipment.
\n
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
\n
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
\n

Qualifications:
\n

\n
• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
\n
• Experience: Experience with preventive maintenance and hand tools preferred.
\n
• License/Certification:
\n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
\n

\n
• Good eye/hand coordination.
\n
• Good paperwork skills.
\n
• Keeps an organized work area.
\n
• Able to diagnose and trouble shoot potential issues.
\n
