The Course Manager is responsible for managing numerous programs of instruction ensuring compliance with the Marine Corps Instructional System Design / Systems Approach to Training and Education (MCISD/SATE) Handbook, and the Academics SOP. The Course Manager reports to and receives work direction from the Project Manager in coordination with the government technical lead.
Ensure instructor cadre collects post-course data (End of Course Critiques).
Ensure instructor cadre consolidates End of Course Critiques into After Course Report.
Aggregate and analyze data for the purposes of identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Ensure all data is appropriately archived and communicated to stakeholders.
Periodically supervise the performance of the instructor cadre to ensure adherence to the approved POI and associated curriculum materials.
Supervise the maintenance of Master Course Files and ensure standardization across the MSTP enterprise.
Utilizing the MSTP Site Inspection Checklist, conduct Curriculum Assist Visits at the training centers.
Track and report Individual Development Plan progress.
Supervise completion of tasks related to curriculum events.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described.
EDUCATION
Minimum of a High School Diploma - Bachelor's degree preferred.
Graduate of the DLEX or Curriculum Developer Course.
Graduate of the Formal School Manager Course.
EXPERIENCE
Former experience as a Curriculum Developer.
Previously served as an instructor at a Marine Corps Formal School (MOS producing school or the SNCO Academy).
Former experience as a Chief Instructor / Course Manager, or SNCOIC preferred.
Former experience as an Operations Chief.
