Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist with full charge bookkeeping experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably within the insurance industry. This role is crucial to our financial operations and requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions
Maintain accurate records of all vendor invoices and payments
Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy
Handle vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-3 years of related accounting experience
Full charge bookkeeping experience is highly preferred
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
