Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role can be filled by either a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or a Registered Nurse (RN), depending on qualifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, a compassionate approach to patient interactions, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Administer and manage respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

  • Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatments as necessary.

  • Perform assessments, including respiratory rate, lung sounds, and oxygen saturation.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

  • Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.


Qualifications:

  • Valid LVN or RN license in the state of California.

  • Experience in respiratory care preferred but not required.

  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
