At CMIT Solutions, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in a full-time role. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization through accurate and timely financial reporting. You will be working onsite at our Cranston, RI location.
Responsibilities: • Receives customer payments in various forms and posts to proper accounts in a timely manner; processes bank deposits. • Responds to billing and information requests from customers. • Manage Accounting email inboxes and escalate as needed. • Assist with Billing as needed. • Ensure all controls and processes are followed and documented when changed. • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support. • Escalate any errors and problems to the Director of Accounting. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance • 3+ years of accounting experience • Quick Books Online Experience is required • Strong knowledge of GAAP • Advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook, and accounting software • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Prior accounting experience for an MSOP's is a plus
