Job Description: As a software engineer, you'll join a distributed dev team to build web application solutions for a modern, forward-thinking tech stack. You'll work with other developers to translate designs and workflows into code, follow requirements, recognize subtle (but important) details, and contribute to a library of custom components. Our team works with Svelte and SvelteKit, but comparable experience with other Javascript frameworks and a capacity to learn quickly are welcome. We value curiosity, creative problem-solving, innovation, independence, and initiative. Requirements: Minimum 4-7 years of professional, full-stack web applications development experience. Mastery level Type. Script/Javascript, Node.js & CSS. Experience with NoSQL databases.
Additional Desired Experience & Expertise: Deep familiarity with Google Cloud Platform. Professional experience with Firestore and/or Elastic search. Experience working video events / media APIs. Experience integrating third party APIs. Familiarity with other technologies relevant to our services & processes, such as Figma, Firebase, Tailwind CSS, Terraform Personal
Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication is a must. Creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to experiment. Strong prioritization skills and the ability to self-manage time. Ability to work independently or collaboratively to find solutions (and the experience to know when each is needed). Passion for continued education and adapting to new technologies and industry trends. Positive attitude for both learning from and mentoring other team members.
