Responsibilities:- Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) processes- Approve expenses for reimbursement and credit card transactions- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform variance analysis- Track prepaid expenses and deferred revenue- Prepare monthly journal entries- Ensure sales tax compliance- Assist with payroll processing and tax filing- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management- Assist in implementing and maintaining accounting control procedures- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting- Conduct Budget vs Actuals analysis and prepare variance analysis- Collaborate with CFO to optimize financial operations- Analyze trends, identify areas of concern or opportunity, and provide insights to management- Assist with audit requests- Support testing for future ERP implementation- Complete various ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred- 3-5 years of general accounting experience in a corporate environment required- Proficiency in Excel and NetSuite- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial acumen- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and other departments- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion- Strong time management and prioritization skills- Ability to problem-solve effectively- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in financial data entryThis is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting to play a key role in our organization.
