RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client is hiring a Senior Internal Auditor (SOX) to join their team in Natick, MA. This company is well-known in the retail/manufacturing industry. The expected schedule is hybrid 3 days in-office: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in office, remote Monday/Friday.

Duties:

• Oversee and manage the internal audit process


• Conduct risk assessments


• Develop audit plans


• Perform audits


• Evaluate internal controls


• Identify controls deficiencies and make recommendations for improvement


• Train and mentor junior staff member


• Stay up to date on changes in regulations and best practices in the field

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience in corporate audit and/or big 4 firm, preferably in the consumer electronics, automotive, technology, and/or manufacturing industry


• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices to make sure of the accuracy and completeness of financial statements


• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements and regulations


• Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills


• Strong attention to detail


• Proficiency in using audit tools and software to conduct testing and analysis of financial data


• Ability to assess and evaluate internal controls, financial reporting processes, and compliance with SOX requirements


• Able to multitask projects and meet deadlines in a timely manner

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
