Responsibilities
What you'll be challenged to do:
TranSystems is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering intern interested in learning career skills through assisting our experienced Engineers in the design process, preparation of plan sets, bridge inspection field work, and reporting. This position is based out of our headquarters in the Kansas City, MO office. Successful candidates will be exposed to multiple civil engineering disciplines including: structural design of interstate and arterial roadway bridges, freight rail bridge design, and bridge inspection site work. Additionally, there may be opportunities to perform construction inspection duties on various types of construction sites. This is a technical position intended for Civil or Structural Engineering students who have completed their sophomore year of college or higher.
