Job Description:

The Digital Growth & Analytics Manager will be a vital member of the Business Strategy, Sales and Operations group and play a key role in driving digital business and partner strategies across various console/PC and cross-platform titles. This person will lead the development and implementation of metrics-based objectives, measurement and promotions, especially in relation to first party store and ecosystems (PlayStation, Steam, Switch, Xbox), to grow digital revenue and business in the Western market. This collaborative and cross-functional role will work closely with product, ops, marketing and business/sales teams across global offices. Ideal candidate would possess strong analytics, project management and presentation skills as well as significant digital product/entertainment experience and a passion for data storytelling, gaming and the related landscape of emerging channels, business intelligence and marketing technology. Candidate will have opportunity to evolve and expand position based on business need, skillset and interests. This position reports to the Director of Digital Strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Define and develop digital growth strategies and best practices for console/PC games relating to first party, sales/promotions and new business opportunities. Collaborate and drive execution on priority projects and postmortems.
  • Gather, analyze and interpret data across product, business, sales and marketing fields to translate into actionable insights as well as compelling presentations/proposals, case studies, competitive analysis and reporting.
  • Work closely with first party teams and internal teams in relation to GTM planning and optimization of product lifecycle/roadmap events, store/platform capabilities and live service campaigns.
  • Collaborate with product marketing- and analytics-related teams to design A/B testing, experiments and learnings that strengthen future replicable campaigns and lift product performance.
  • Build internal frameworks, regular reporting and KPIs for data-driven cross-team strategies and analyses.
  • Identify and communicate across teams on valuable tools and technologies across BI, sales/martech and other business management software for digital growth optimization and measurement.
  • Evaluate and quantify potential digital revenue opportunities, monetization models and partnerships across platforms and premium/F2P games.
  • Conduct relevant market research and monitor market trends and competitor landscape to inform evergreen and GTM digital sales and promotional strategies.
  • Manage cross-functional communications, best practices and implementation of first party platform optimization and digital sales/promotional opportunities with content creation, product and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with physical ops and sales teams to synergize overall growth efforts and learnings.
  • Project manage roadmap/calendars, workback schedules and asset/deliverables with relevant teams to test and implement improvements in store optimization and first party efforts.
  • Support first party, digital and analytics efforts across Business, Sales and Ops teams.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent Excel/reporting skill. Some data modeling, statistical or other analytics skills a plus.
  • Strong experience with various types of data (product/in-game, business/sales, media/marketing) and related BI, martech and project management tools.
  • Experience in gaming (Console & PC) and/or digital games/entertainment. Passion for console/PC games a plus.
  • Strong understanding of and previous experience with first party platforms and promotions.
  • Passion for data and experience in data storytelling/visualization and able to translate qualitative and quantitative inputs into actionable insights and compelling presentations or proposals.
  • Team player, collaborative and skilled at working with and influencing cross-functional teams across product, marketing and business verticals.
  • Good PowerPoint and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills, high accountability, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • B2B/sales, licensing and contract/partner negotiations experience a plus.
  • Integrated/marketing experience with paid, owned, and organic channels a plus.
  • Knowledge of GTM planning and digital marketing mix a plus.
  • Bilingual in Japanese a plus.
  • Experience in mobile gaming and live services a plus.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business or related field
  • 3-4+ years of experience in some digital and data-driven field such as product marketing, marketing analytics, performance and digital games.
