Senior IT Project Manager at Kforce Inc in San Leandro, California

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is searching for a Senior IT Project Manager in the San Leandro, southern Alameda County or Fremont area in Northern California.

Responsibilities:

• Will be onsite at the client facilities in the greater southern Alameda area 2-4 times per week, as needed


• The Senior IT Project Manager will be coordinating the delivery and execution of multiple Capital, Construction projects


• Network Infrastructure, Cabling, Wireless implementation/IP Networking, site surveys and walk throughs


• Developing cost benefit analyses for the program


• Communicating to an executive committee


• Creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard


• The Senior IT Project Manager will be allocating resources across the multiple projects


• Defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program

REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS degree or 4 years of additional experience required


• PMP certification is preferred


• 8+ years of experience required


• Able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties


• Must be self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills


• Proven oral and written communication skills; Excellent business presentation skills


• Excellent analytical skills


• Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational business units


• Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization


• Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
