Job Description:

As an Administrative Support AssociateatNystrom & Associates, you will provide support to our Front Office Associates, as directed, by answering phone calls to register and schedule patients, making outbound calls for various projects and re-engagement with patients, as well as some data entry projects. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. You will play an important part in that process by actively listening to patients' needs and showing empathy to every patient you speak with.This position will be begin in-person with the transition to remote.

Nystrom & Associatesis a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. We are committed to helping patients in our community who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient substance use disorder program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.

Rationale:The Administrative Support Team provides additional support to our patients and administrative teams. This position plays an important role in the continuity of care by supporting our patients and stakeholders through appointment scheduling, processing paperwork, and handling inquiries.

Job Duties:
Answer inbound and make outbound phone calls while responding to inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information or triaging as appropriateSorting incoming electronic paperworkPrioritize remote coverage, as instructed, during times of clinic shortages. This includes tasks, worklist items, faxes, etc.Assist with overflow tasks such as disposition lists, bumped appointments, and other duties as assigned.Attend mandatory meetings and training.Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task and handle stress.Positive attitude and ability to be flexible.
Strong attention to detail.Keep all business information strictly confidential.Proficiency in technology and computer use including Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
