Role description:

Arcadis seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to join our team for a significant tunnel project in the New York / New Jersey area. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a critical role in managing project scheduling for a high-profile tunnel project. Join our team and contribute to delivering excellence in project management and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and maintaining schedules within P6.

Role Accountabilities:

• Evaluate and improve scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy; may include developing procedures, instructions, and/or guidelines that facilitate the two-way flow of cost and schedule information.
• Contribute to specified elements of the business planning and budgeting process.
• Manage and ensure that the Baseline Change management process is followed.
• Lead the qualitative and quantitative schedule risk analysis.
• Proactively identify schedule risks and lead teams to identify mitigation strategies to
  minimize potential delays.
• Develop bid evaluation schedule criteria and prepares bid evaluations.
• Ensure that schedules meet with the Project Requirements. Review, evaluate and
  improve schedule quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather
  information and ensure accurate representation of project timelines.
• Monitor and report the critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
• Identify performance variances regarding actual versus planned results and recommend corrective actions to better align planned and actual results.
• Prepare monthly schedule updates, narratives, and reports for management and client.

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• At least 10-12 years' experience in construction project scheduling and project controls, at least five (5) of which are on highly complex or large (>$500 million) projects, with 5-8 years of direct hands-on experience as a scheduler, specifically using Primavera scheduling software.

• Proven experience in analyzing schedule claims.
• Strong communication and collaboration experience with clients, vendors, and diverse teams.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $198,000 - $238,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
