The Global Supply Planning Process Expert is an expert on the Planning process for both finished and semi-finished goods (including product optimization) for in Mars Snacking Factories. This role will create different operations models/archetypes to suit the different sized market requirements.

As part of this Transformation program the role will, with the support and knowledge of enterprise and segment consulting experts, understand and own the clean core design for product planning in our new SAP S4 and Edge environments. Using these skills the role will ensure a fit for purpose Supply Chain design for all Mars Snacking planning requirements. Design and support all the regional markets with a standardized deployment and nurturing model to support the Snacking/D30 business objectives of standardization, digitization and simplification. This role is accountable for the solution delivery and market uptake and ownership for their functional area.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in a relevant business function or significant experience (8yrs+) in relevant functional area

Functional Experience in Supply Planning (5+ years)

Experience with Mars Supply transformation projects (preferred)

Process Governance experience

Functional Expert experience / Problem Solving

What will be your key responsibilities?

Process knowledge:

The Global Supply Planning Process Expert is the global expert for the process of Supply Planning for the optimal performance to suit production demand.

The role needs to partner with all the Snacking regional factory/Inbound Supply teams to ensure a clear understanding of global processes to represent the segment as its global process champion for their functional area.

Solution Design:

The role partners with the Snacking D30 GXO's and Network leads on design & software decisions.

The role participates with the cross functional supply teams, solution architects and Business Integration partners on solution design to ensure a clean core finance model while retaining Snacking operational capability and process simplification.

Partner with D30 on global ownership for formulating strategy, designing processes, and overseeing the implementation across Supply Chain Planning within Snacking.

Partner with cross functional SMEs to align and provide "hands-on" inputs into the configuration of the ERP.

Work closely with the Master data workstream to co-define the master data strategy, data model and data governance for data objects in Supply Chain Planning scope.

Partner with other GPOs & GPLs on ERP Transformation LT to ensure the E2E processes are developed with clear vision.

Solution Deployment:

The role will be accountable for the deployment of the Supply Planning solution into the global Snacking markets and will partner with the local deployment teams to ensure a consistent and successful deployment (go-live and nurturing)

Partner with the DT team and Deployment teams to develop deployment roadmaps and manage the Global template for Snacking Supply Chain Planning.

Support regional deployment teams as needed.
