Job Summary
This position will be performing general cleaning duties in the Apartment Housing Area under the instruction of a supervisor.
Departement-Specific Responsibilities
Cleans, sanitizes, and dusts rooms and restrooms, including walls, partitions, windows, door glass, and trash removal.
Performs floor care and carpet care including vacuuming and edging, and spot cleaning.
Cleans lounges, stairwells, offices, and public areas.
Performs snow removal, furniture moving, and other jobs several times of the year.
Performs routine light maintenance activities, notifies management of need for repairs.
Changes/ replaces light bulbs as needed.

Working Conditions / Demands
Ability to move a wide variety of items from one place to another on a frequent basis, including furniture, and/or up and down stairs. Ability to remain stationary and/or move around the work environment for long periods of time in performing job assignments. Ability to ascend/descend using ladders and stairs to clean surfaces that are on different elevations and uneven surfaces.
Must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally.
