BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Programmer V (J2EE Developer)
for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC!




Position Title: Application Programmer V (J2EE Developer)




Location: Charlotte, NC




Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12Months




Job Type: CONTRACT, Hybrid




Pay Range: $60 to $65.06/hr.



Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).



Description:

* Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
* Requires strong foundation and exposure in Business Process Management Design and development of JAVA/J2EE applications.
* Capable of attending Business discussions and workshops and gather requirements.
* Analyze requirements and transform to technical Flow, aligned with existing project framework and design.

Top 3 required skill sets: Core Java / Mule ESB / Oracle PLSQL / Kafka
* Good working experience and knowledge in JAVA/J2EE, Kafka, REST API, Spring framework, mulesoft, cucumbers framework, GIT etc.
* Hands-on working experience in Oracle - should be proficient in creating SQL scripts and procedures.
* Should be able to handle code repositories using Bitbucket.
* Exposure to tools namely Jenkins, WinSCP XLR, CI-CD framework is an added advantage.
* Knowledge and working experience in Agile Framework will be an added advantage.
* Java, Kafka, Spring MVC, Mule ESB, Oracle SQL / PLSQL
* 10 years proven working experience in Java development and Software development
* Experience in Spring framework Transaction Management
* Good to have knowledge in MuleSoft
* Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
* Knowledge of Relational Database
* Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
* Experience with GIT, Eclipse
* Analytical mindset and good problem solving skills
* Knowledge of Jenkins
* Attention to detail
* Work with globally distributed teams.
* Excellent communication skills and excels in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
* Should be a fast-learner, a good team player and co-ordinate and cooperate with fellow team members.
