Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a highly successful CPA firm located just north of Boston, MA is searching for a Nonprofit Tax Manager. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week in office and 2 days remote. Summertime offers additional flexibility.

The Nonprofit Tax Manager will be responsible for:

• Delivery a full range of tax services in compliance with tax exempt laws and regulations


• Provide innovative tax planning, research, and review of complex non-profit tax issues


• Manage all aspects of client's tax implications, requirements, and overall relationship


• Provide a high standard of client service


• Lead junior staff to achieve deadlines and maintain project utilization


• Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5+ years of public accounting tax experience


• Ability to plan, supervise and complete tax engagements


• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent engagements


• Strong commitment to high-level of client service


• Self-starter personality with exceptional integrity


• CPA/MST preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
