RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is seeking a Product Merchandising Manager for a client in Boston, MA.

Summary:
This role will support the seasonal briefing by co-authoring new creation and new material/color/graphic briefs, as well as supporting the creating of seasonal line plans. As the Product Merchandising Manager II, you will have significant responsibility of partnering cross functionally in leading the team in product creation from ideation to in-store and mainly supporting our Senior Product Managers. You will partner cross functionally with our design, development, and geo teams to manage product creation, gather feedback on product, and make decisions accordingly. You will also work closely with our global inline teams in a joint effort in bringing a variety of products to life cohesively. In addition, there will be opportunity for key account engagement and focus on certain exclusive projects.

Duties Include:


  • Product Merchandising Manager will evaluate and review product with a clear thought process through price/value, consumer personas, and brand strategy

  • Help manage the process and track our monthly product Intake requests from geos

  • Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery

  • Create and update our visual line plans and ensure that all product information is accurate and accounted for

  • Own the submission of range planning for the teams' new product creation

  • As a Product Merchandising Manager, you will educate the team on consumer analysis of what's trending, illustrate consumer insights, and make recommendations to team; We want this person to be consumer obsessed and in-tune with what is happening in the -now-

  • Lead our weekly product meetings with design and development to ensure we are tracking progress for all projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inline product merch, design, development, geo partners, and marketing to bring new products to market







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree required plus 3+ years of footwear product industry experience

  • Industry experience with footwear design/creation, development, and product life cycle management

  • Ability to develop business relationships cross functionally with key stakeholder

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; Must be able to communicate effectively based on audience

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and market trends

  • Team player mentality and operational excellence to assist with the team's processes

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities while working on multiple projects

  • Passion for sneakers and a deep understanding of the sneaker market, culture, and proactive to finding trends

  • KeyNote, PowerPoint, and Excel skills

  • Proficient understanding of the footwear product creation process and general knowledge of the components of footwear and materials

  • Excellent organizational & follow through skills

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Some products in Brazilian markets, so any Portuguese speakers would be a bonus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
