Positions can vary from remote, to hybrid, to 100% onsite depending on what the client requires. All candidates must be in the St Louis, MO or St Clair County, IL region to be considered.



The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data within the company's systems and databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in entering data, as well as the ability to manage large volumes of information. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, and data management software.


Key Responsibilities


Data Entry: Accurately input data into company databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.


Data Verification: Review data for accuracy and completeness, ensuring any discrepancies or errors are corrected.


Document Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital records, ensuring data is properly stored and easy to retrieve.


Reporting: Generate regular data reports as needed, and provide summaries of information for managers or team members.


Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks to ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.


Communication: Collaborate with other departments to ensure all data is collected and recorded properly.


Confidentiality: Handle sensitive or confidential information in accordance with company policies.


File Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of data entry tasks, logging information for future reference.


Process Improvement: Suggest improvements to data entry processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Requirements


High school diploma or equivalent


Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar position.


Fast and accurate typing skills (with a minimum speed of [insert typing speed, if required]).


Strong proficiency with data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).


Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.


Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.


Good written and verbal communication skills.


Familiarity with administrative procedures and office equipment

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
