We will count on you to:




Leadership & Management



  • Serve as the direct manager for early career regional leads

  • Improve processes to better scale our programmatic offerings across businesses and regions

  • Regularly review current processes, suggest improvements, and prioritize changes with an emphasis on simplification and automation.

  • Ensure process documentation is in place for all program aspects and monitor programs to meet objectives.

  • Analyze the effectiveness of early career programs using data-driven insights for continuous improvement

  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within early career development programs




Program Management:



  • Ensure comprehensive development programs for early career professionals are effectively communicated and implemented, including onboarding, training, mentorship, community building activities, and career development

  • Lead the implementation of globally consistent offerings and provide ongoing support to regional leads in executing regionally specific components

  • Implement innovative strategies to attract, retain, and nurture top talent from diverse backgrounds

  • Introduce initiatives to improve early career colleague engagement and reduce turnover

  • Contribute to and lead listening strategies to gather feedback and insights for designing new programming.




Collaboration with Talent Acquisition:



  • Partner with talent acquisition to ensure early career colleagues are systemically identified within our systems accurately prior to their start date across our various regional talent acquisition processes

  • Contribute to attraction strategies for early career candidates, highlighting the benefits of our early career offerings.

  • Stay connected to business headcount forecasts for early career talent to ensure alignment with future programming




Collaboration with People Strategy COEs



  • Partner with HR strategy and data analytics team to gather feedback and insights for designing new programming/ ensuring efficacy of existing programs

  • Partner with Total Reward teams to ensure compensation and performance practices for Early Careers cohorts are effective.




About our Talent & Inclusion Center of Expertise



The Talent & Inclusion Center of Expertise (COE) collaborates with the other teams in our people function to deliver core people services and programs that enable colleague development and engagement. The COE provides strategy, design, and subject matter expertise to the organization on talent management, learning, leadership, performance, diversity, inclusion, social impact and colleague experience drivers, ensuring alignment between people and business strategies.


The Talent & Inclusion COE forms part of the People Strategy team. The People Strategy Team identifies, develops and delivers solutions, and is comprised of six centers of expertise - HR Strategy, Workforce Planning, Talent & Inclusion, Executive Compensation, Broad-Based Compensation and Benefits & Mobility.


The People Strategy team delivers informed perspectives and creative solutions; anticipates and helps the organization respond to market, business and colleague needs; and brings a balance of deep technical expertise and consultative approach to identifying opportunities and developing scalable solutions that enable impact.



What you need to have:



  • A bachelor's degree

  • A minimum of 10 years of early career development experience

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections, and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.


The applicable base salary range for this role is $127,900 to $255,700.


The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
