Where does the Sr. HR Generalist fit in?
The Sr. HR Generalist upholds corporate standards while supporting a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, health & safety, performance management, and HR programs and initiatives for the division.
The Sr. HR Generalist manages the daily operations within the HR department. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruitment, performance management, onboarding, policy development, and employee relations, while supporting corporate initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
What you can expect as our next Sr. HR Generalist?

Collaborate with corporate HR to standardize programs and processes.
Manage all aspects of local recruitment and HR Generalist functions.
Align local human resource needs with corporate labor relations strategies.
Address employee relations issues, maintaining records, and assisting with investigations as needed.
Administer the HRIS system, ensuring accurate employee data updates.
Oversee the full recruitment cycle: from job description creation to candidate interviews and communication with hiring managers.
Report on recruitment metrics and recommend improvements.
Draft employee contracts ensuring compliance with employment laws and standards.
Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires.
Analyze turnover and absenteeism data, offering recommendations for improvement.
Support staff immigration applications for intra-company transfers.
Oversee off-boarding, including exit interviews, and communicate findings to management.
Administer and provide recommendations for benefits plans (medical, dental, vision, etc.).
Research, develop, and revise policies in compliance with state legislation, especially for a manufacturing setting.
Provide guidance to employees and managers on policies, compensation, and benefits.
Coordinate employee performance appraisals (probationary and annual).
Participate in corporate HR programs like Succession Planning, Career Development, Rewards & Recognition, and Employee Satisfaction initiatives.
Help organize corporate events and activities to promote employee engagement.
Share HR best practices to ensure consistency across processes and procedures.
Chair the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC), ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
Assist with workers' compensation, including accident investigations, OSHA log maintenance, and insurance reporting.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Are you our next Sr. HR Generalist?

Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
SHRM certification or progress toward completion is a plus.
Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (UKG & ADP is beneficial).
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation and HR functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tech-savviness.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently.
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
