UC Health is hiring a full time Revenue Cycle Manager

The manager will be responsible for managing Underpayments, Manage underpayment vendor, insurance credit balances, Refunds, Epic pricing issues, Run Business intelligence reports, Manage underpayment vendor, Appeals and Inpatient appeal follow up with a focus on quality, productivity and results.. Holds department accountable through regular meetings, establishment of goals/KPIs and adherence to UC Health RITE values. Maintains unit operations with consideration to corporate and governmental compliance, cost containment, employee relations and quality customer service.

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree.
  • Preferred: 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience. CRCR certified.

  • Staffing - interviews, hires, and evaluates the performance of associates within the unit, actively embraces diversity of staff. Communicates performance expectations and actively mentors personnel for success, uses the performance appraisal for development purposes. Prioritizes and assigns tasks, reviews work performed on a random basis, and challenges the staff to better themselves. Provides meaningful feedback to staff on an ongoing basis, and formally appraises performance annually. Periodically analyzes the workload and the human resources needs of the department, recommends increases and decreases in staffing. Provides opportunities for employee development through in-services and continuing education. Ensures the staff is well trained, develops and motivates employees to maintain desired performance standards and to prepare for other job opportunities.
  • Communicating - maintains working relationships, recognizing contributions from each associate, recognizes and manages difficult relationships, and cultivates networks. Ensures that personnel, superiors and key decision makers are well informed. Demonstrates the ability to express the organization messages clearly, both orally and in writing. Listens to gain understanding and commitment, makes presentations, and gives briefings with appropriate materials; motivates the audience towards decision/action/commitment. Communicates and administers personnel programs and procedures of area in accordance with approved policies. Conducts regular staff meetings to inform employees of organizational developments necessary for their job responsibilities.
  • Project Management - develops complete and accurate project charters, with appropriate details for size of the project, assigns and monitors tasks to the team members, provides effective project coordination with vendors, consultants, staff, systems, and users, provides staff and resource project plan estimates, provides accurate and timely individual and project status reports, updates project status weekly and ensures timely resolution of project issues.
  • Delegation - develops staff to become more fulfilled and productive by giving responsibility and authority to subordinates, encourages staff to participates in the development of quantitative and qualitative standards, or the process of work performed followed to complete assigned tasks.
