RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Kforce client, a Unique industry - manufacturer and designer of medical devices is seeking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant/Analyst to join their team in Manchester, New Hampshire area.

The client offers a flexible environment, strong benefits including profit sharing, PTO, 401k, health/dental, etc. This position is ideally on-site but open to 1 day a week remote (2 days remote as needed for emergencies/appointments).

Duties Include:

• Senior Staff Accountant/Analyst will prepare and analyze financial statements and reports


• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, GAAP, ERP


• Conduct financial analysis to support decision making


• Analyze trends in revenues, expenses


• Provide insights into business performance and identify areas for improvement


• As a Senior Staff Accountant/Analyst, you will review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting activities


• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff or analysis


• Collaborate with other accounting departments


• Accounting software knowledge and tools for reporting and analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of experience with progressively responsible financial roles focused on accounting, financial analysis and reporting


• 2+ years of managerial experience


• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations


• Advanced, strong proficiency with Excel, and especially pivot tables and database queries such as VLOOKUP's is essential to the position as well as the ability to work with very large data sets


• Strong analytical skills


• Supervisory or Team lead positions experience


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• Strong critical thinking skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
