RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Herndon, VA.

Duties Include:

• Finance Business Partner will be preparing financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts


• Monitoring financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met


• Supervising employees who do financial reporting and budgeting


• Reviewing company financial reports and seeking ways to reduce costs


• Analyzing market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities


• Helping management make financial decisions


• Developing and implementing strategies for financial goals of the organization


• Working with auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations


• As a Finance Business Partner, you will be evaluating and managing risk


• Ensuring cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations


• Provide assistances to Program Control Analyst (PCA) team with respect to day-to-day questions and/or guidance required for them to perform their responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with equivalent experience; 6 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree


• Minimum of 10 years of experience performing a project control function; Must have knowledge of government contract types


• Familiarity with Project Control Life Cycle (Planning, Tracking, Analysis, Review and Reporting)


• Flexibility in work schedule during month end close and tight deliverables deadline


• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
