Job Description:

Benedict College seeks an experienced student recruiter with a proven track record to lead recruitment efforts for all STEM areas in the School of Science and Engineering. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, this team member will also have responsibility for coordinating the student success initiatives for STEM students. Under the direction of the VP and in coordination with the Director for Admissions and the dean, department chairs, and faculty, the successful candidate will be charged with implementing best practices in STEM recruitment, planning and facilitating public events focused on STEM recruitment, using social media platforms to generate interest, and expanding the reach and effectiveness of all STEM recruitment initiatives. STEM student engagement and retention activities will also be led by the STEM Recruiter in accordance with data-driven key performance indicators. Knowledge of Benedict College's academic, spiritual, social, and financial aid programs and the ability to communication this information effectively must be demonstrated.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree;Degree in STEM are preferred with at least three years of related work experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent computer skills and proficiency with a variety of computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc.);Good driving record;Ability to work weekends, evenings, and travel (in- and out-of-state);Effective/timely completion of tasks;Strong oral and written communication skills;Effective interpersonal skills and excellent work habits;Other required skills to include electronic and paper file management and organizational skills;Other related duties as required by the Vice President for Enrollment Management
