Summary:

We are looking for a Fulfillment Operations Coordinator to assist in logistical support and streamlining our operations. The Fulfillment Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth logistical operations related to freight claims, returns, and expense tracking. The role involves handling damaged product claims, managing returns from customers, updating claims portals, and providing detailed reports on claims and freight expenses. This position requires continuous communication with carriers and efficient processing of refund checks.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and distribute return labels and call-tags to facilitate the return of merchandise from customers.
  • Monitor and ensure that returned products are received back within the designated timeframes.
  • Evaluate and offer resolutions for claims that are denied by carriers.
  • Regularly update the claims management portal with necessary actions, status changes, and relevant details.
  • Compile and present weekly summaries of all claims that have been processed.
  • Create and deliver monthly reports detailing freight expenses to aid in budget management.
  • Continuously communicate with carriers throughout the claims process to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Handle and process refund checks received from carriers for approved claims.
  • Monitor and analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the fulfillment process.

Job Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse fulfillment, or a related field (shipping, supply chain, or distribution).
  • Proven understanding of logistics and freight operations, including LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with carriers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Experience with claims management systems and a solid grasp of warehouse management technology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Project management experience is a plus (e.g., PMP/CAPM, Six Sigma, Lean certifications).
  • Analytical skills to monitor and interpret claims data for process improvement.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
  • Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.

Compensation

Starting base pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
