POSITION OVERVIEW: We are looking for a highly technical, collaborative and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our US Accounting & Finance team to play a key role in supporting our rapidly growing business. This role is responsible for accounting and management reporting for the US PMY subsidiaries. You will do the daily accounting and finance activities while ensuring the most effective systems and financial architectures are in place to support our growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ownership of the financial control function across the PMY US businesses (supported by the Controller), including potential to oversee and develop budgeting, financial forecasting, management reporting and modelling tools.
• Support compliance related activities for PMY US entities including tax, risk and supporting the Group audit.
• Contributing to financial integration by ensuring a consistent application of policies and processes with the PMY Group (including consideration of finance systems used across our US companies)
• Providing advice and recommendations to enhance the use and functionality of the accounting systems and reporting infrastructure.
• Providing strategic support to the team with financial reporting, analysis and insights to support strong performance of the business.
• Assisting with the oversight of cash (including forecasting) and overall finance requirements.
• Assist with system improvement initiatives including (but not limited to) ERP roll-out within the US and specific US finance system improvements and changes.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Qualification in accounting or a related discipline and/or substantial professional financial experience ideally within a high growth business.
• CPA or qualified (or equivalent overseas qualification)
• Public Accounting experience preferred
• Strong (2+ years) experience in a Senior Financial Accountant role is preferred.
• Self-driven individual with a sense of responsibility around timing of work deliverables
• Exemplary teamwork skills, at all times driving participation and engagement in order to achieve business goals.
• Commercial acumen and strategic thinking with an ability to understand new issues quickly, challenge as required and make wise decisions.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills with an approach characterized by commitment, motivation, and energy.
