*This is a hybrid role with three weeks per month onsite (Mon – Thurs). The primary work location is our corporate campus in Dodgeville, WI and you will perform work both on-site and remotely each week. As an intern, you will join over 5,000 talented individuals who are leaders, critical thinkers, accountable, curious, flexible and results-minded all driving toward the same goal - to delight customers and drive sales through multiple channels. In addition, you will join a diverse group of individuals from a variety of colleges, universities and areas of study. Some highlights of our internship program include: 



  • Paid Internship: $20/hr 

  • Twelve-week program: May 19 – August 8, 2025

Our internship program is designed with future leaders in mind and serves as a pipeline for top talent. Participants in our program receive one-on-one mentorship while working alongside seasoned Digital Merchandising professionals. You will support category Digital Merchandisers in driving a multi-million-dollar business through the U.S. Direct website. 


Responsibilities 



  • Merchandise the product catalog to drive customer engagement through storytelling and increase conversion on all device types. 

  • Actively build and maintain relationships with Merchandising, Creative, IT & Marketing teams. 

  • Plan and develop seasonal strategies, promotional events, site enhancements and product launches. 

  • Provide analysis of key product categories’ performance and merchandising strategies. 

  • Serve as a resource for digital enhancement roadmap & process consistency. 

  • Identify, build and maintain the customer’s digital path to purchase Lands’ End merchandise. 

  • Ensure all digital touchpoints are prioritized, accurate and up to date. 

  • Conduct regular audits of landsend.com, ensuring customer path to purchase (browse and search) is fully optimized to drive product findability, cross merchandising, conversion and sales. May include limited evening or weekend hours. 

  • Execute linking functions for all Lands’ End emails following best practice linking strategy, pulling links, and providing them to the marketing team in the necessary format. 

  • Maintain data integrity for designated business category and identify process efficiencies. 

  • Perform routine reporting functions such as pulling data or refreshing key reports. 

  • Attribute product to be published on the website. 

  • Activate on selling strategies by collaborating cross-functionally to maximize site sales potential, site conversion and customer satisfaction. 

  • Identify, monitor and optimize search performance for a business category. 

  • Lead and develop improvements that drive efficiencies in the digital merchandising process. 

  • Perform QA and UAT for site releases and other IT initiatives. 


Qualifications 



  • Rising Senior at an accredited University. 

  • Coursework in merchandising, marketing, economics, and/or technology. 

  • Retail or ecommerce background working directly with products and/or customers a plus. 

  • Attention to detail and organizational excellence. 

  • Effective decision making, strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to remain graceful under pressure. 

  • Proactive, self-starter who can work well both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team on multiple concurrent projects. 

  • Solid communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of an organization. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, in particular). Knowledge of Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Endeca Experience Manager, HTML & database hierarchy a plus.
