OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced and analytical Managing Consultant to join our team in the Boston office. This position will play a critical role in the analysis of patient trends, utilizing process mining tools, and managing large, complex data sets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analysis within the healthcare industry, proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI, data analysis tools such as SQL/Python/R and experience with systems such as EPIC EMR/Praxis/Cerner/Allscripts and a strong ability to create insightful dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.ABOUT BRG CORPORATE FINANCEThe BRG Corporate Finance practice specializes in providing strategic, operational, and financial advice to private equity firms, management teams, boards of directors, investors, hedge funds, and other lenders on companies that are either underperforming or in transition.Comprised of experienced, hands-on professionals that are results-oriented and data-driven, the market leading BRG Corporate Finance practice collaborates as partners with management teams and sponsors to focus on strategic options that maximize value for stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIESPatient Trend Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of patient data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to understand key metrics and deliver actionable insights.
Process Mining:
  • Utilize process mining tools to assess and optimize healthcare processes.
  • Analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
Data Management:
  • Collect, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all platforms.
Dashboard Creation:
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau/ Power BI to visualize complex data sets.
  • Provide stakeholders with clear, concise, and actionable reports to support business objectives.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and finance, to align data analysis with business goals.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
  • Experience with client financial platforms such as Workday/Oracle/MS Dynamics/Sage
Project Management:
  • Oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery according to agreed-upon scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure resources are effectively allocated and project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks that may arise.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related field.
  • Proven experience in analyzing patient trends and using process mining tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau/Power BI, with a strong ability to create and manage dashboards.
  • Extensive experience in handling and analyzing large datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience with healthcare platforms such as such as EPIC EMR/Praxis/Cerner/Allscripts
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL/Python/R
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
