During tax season:
Downloading client information from our portal and start file for tax preparers
Emailing clients the finished product
Answering phone during peak times
Conference room scheduling and coordination
Assembling or packaging completed tax returns for client pickup or mailing
Additional duties outside of tax season:
Correspondence to clients & taxing authorities
Assembling client financial statements
Social media development & management
Helping to organize firm outings
Assisting with implementation of any new software or procedures
Assisting with tracking of engagement letters, client information requests, etc.
Data entry of basic tax information on easier returns
Providing administrative support
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in MS Office & cloud-based system
Familiarity with tax software a plus
Technically savvy & adept at learning new technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good telephone communication etiquette
Strong organizational skills
Customer-focused
Ability to handle office equipment
The Administrative Assistant role is a temp to hire opportunity onsite in Hadley. Please note special hours:full-time, Mon-Fri with 7-hour shift on Saturdays during tax season (late January to mid-April).
