Location: 100% Remote (must be able to work EST hours)
Apex Systems is looking to hire a Technical Product Owner to support the separation of a cloud environment for one of our clients in the Cincinnati, OH area
Key Responsibilities:
Understand Customer Needs: Interact with internal and/or external customers and stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development and operations teams to define scope, manage backlogs, and ensure project requirements are met.
Project Management: Demonstrate a growing understanding of project management principles to effectively oversee product development cycles.
Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and maintain domain expertise to inform product decisions and strategies.
Influence and Persuade: Utilize strong communication and influencing skills to guide stakeholders and ensure alignment with product vision and goals.
Support Central Cloud Team: Collaborate with the central cloud team to ensure seamless integration and support.
Additional Responsibilities:
Backlog Management: Own the backlog, prioritize tasks, and define sprints in collaboration with the Architect Team.
User Stories: Write and accept user stories, ensuring they meet the defined requirements.
Roadmap Alignment: Work with other Technical POs to ensure roadmaps are aligned.
Migration Facilitation: Facilitate the migration of accounts with external teams.
Agile Coordination: Coordinate work and teams in an Agile setting, ensuring efficient workflow and collaboration.
Candidate Profile:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in as a Technical PO/PM
Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, and cloud experience (AWS and Azure).
Agile Expertise: Proficient in Agile methodologies, including user stories, backlog management, and sprint planning.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Tools: Experience with Rally or Jira is preferred.
