The Mechanical Engineer will become an integral part of Illinois Engineering Team working on building prototype Aluminum and Titanium parts used in Aircraft, Drones and other flying devices which go boom. Job Description:
The Engineer will work in a team responsible for Design & Prototype Engineering, Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering functions associated with precision manufacturing of CNC Machined parts used in Aerospace parts - using 5 axis CNC Milling machines and work with intricate prototypes and specialty low-volume designs & parts.
Work with state Automated & Semi Automated Equipment, use 3-D cad for Design.
Utilize Microsoft Excel as a tool to review operations and quality data and identify issues and problems.
Participate in team meetings to present quality improvement or manufacturing process improvement.
Requirements:
Prefer BSME in Engineering or other Engineers are welcome to apply.
0 to 5 years experience - Recent Grads are welcome to Apply, this is a position with planned career advancement.
Prior experience in either Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Prior Internship experience is a plus. Any experience with CNC Machining is a huge plus.
Prefer some experience in MS Excel (for data analysis and evaluation).
