RSi is looking to hire a Business Development Coordinator to support our corporate office.

This position will play a key role in expanding RSi’s market presence and driving revenue growth. This position is ideal for an individual with a background in marketing and communications, a desire to build business development expertise, strong strategic thinking abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will help shape RSi marketing and branding initiatives and integrate those with growth initiatives, customer relations, teaming and capture activities, and strategy execution to meet a variety of corporate growth goals.

  • Marketing Development:
    • Identification, research, analysis and marketing of new clients and new business opportunities in target markets.
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support lead generation, target market exposure, and sales pipeline development.
    • Conduct market research to identify policy, funding, technology and program trends; customer needs; and competitive alignments.
  • Relationship Management:
    • Research and analyze client relationships (existing and new).
    • Work with growth staff and leadership to develop client profiles and proposal solutions to meet specific client requirements.
    • Work with our on-site RSi and subcontractor employees to analyze operational support and develop client satisfaction and communication strategies – taking client relations to the next level.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Support the development and implementation of effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    • Support preparation and delivery of compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches.
    • Develop creative and timely social media content to support marketing, sales, business development and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Market and Industry Expertise:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Some travel may be required, up to 15%

  • Requires ability to travel domestically (within the U.S.) <15%

Other Essential Functions:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgement

Security Clearance Requirement: As appropriate, you may need the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance for future positions.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing and communications experience w/ a deep understanding of social media platforms and content development
  • Research and analysis experience to support business development, sales, and strategic planning tasks, preferably with experience in the GovCon market.
  • Experience with marketing campaigns and graphics development is a significant plus.
  • Planning and organizational experience in supporting the senior leadership team with analysis of marketing and business development requirements across an expanding customer base and a large number of IDIQ and GWAC contracts.
