Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor in our Fairfield, OH location. You will be primarily accountable for overseeing the hourly warehouse, shipping and receiving teams and driving daily goal attainment through leadership, lean principles, and collaboration. You will coordinate the day-to-day warehouse activities of your team to safely meet the production schedules, volume, cost and quality standards.
This position will be 1st shift hours are 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Possibility of overtime on Friday and Saturday.
What will you do?
Basics (25% of time)
Ensure compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
Support inventory accuracy & correction operations are realized to keep inventory IT data aligned with physical situation
Drive the actions to get service level, quality, environment, process lead time, maintenance & ensures productivity goals are reached
SIM management (15% of time)
Lead morning meetings according to Schneider Performance System rules, ensuring the quality of information provided to the warehouse supervisor for the meeting with support teams.
Operational role for at least 50% of the time (reception, picking, packaging,...) Others (10% of time)
Make sure operators are trained & validates training levels
Drive in real-time daily adjustments of staff according to the needs and job rotation
Key contributor to the work instruction (physical tasks and IT tasks)
Request to Order Management the replenishment of consumables not managed by ROP in the system
Contribute or lead continuous improvement actions

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
A high-school degree plus equivalent experience in the field can serve as a substitution; a Bachelor's degree is not mandatory.
Possess knowledge of material logistics processes, internal inventory systems, and production/order requirements
Have strong leadership skills
Have an understanding of lean manufacturing principles
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in professional and engineering PC applications.
Are self-motivated.
Experienced in problem resolution.
Are effectively able to utilize time to maintain order schedules.
Have a strong initiative to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
