The shipping and receiving clerk physically receives incoming materials and processes transactional documentation. They are responsible for reconciling shipments to ensure the material received is what was ordered, and that the quantity and quality of materials received is correct. This individual is also responsible for the packaging of finished goods in accordance with customer specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Opens packages of incoming materials and verifies that the material received is what was ordered, and that the quantity is correct and that the quality is acceptable
Accurately and timely transacts Purchase Order receipts into the ERP system
Delivers items received to the appropriate person, team or location
Performs final assembly on certain products prior to shipping
Pulls parts from inventory to assemble production kits
Prepares finished goods for shipping
Enters outgoing shipments into the ERP system
Requisitions and stores materials and supplies as needed
Records purchase receipt and shipment data as required
Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
Resolve shipping & receiving discrepancies by working with vendors, purchasing and operations teams
Coordinate daily collection of site visit records and information from the field team
Review collected site record data for accuracy and completeness, raise any inconsistencies with direct supervisor and coordinate data corrections with the field team
Input the verified site record data into the appropriate database
Perform other data record updates in the appropriate database as required
Requirements
Two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience using pallet jack and hand trucks
Knowledge of ERP software to transact incoming material receipts and outgoing shipments
Knowledge of proper packaging and shipping procedures
Skilled at performing final mechanical assembly and calibration
Ability to handle, resolve and prevent problems
Ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without direct supervision
Must be a highly organized individual who works independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., using team lift as appropriate. Work may involve bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs/ladders.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with an electronic manufacturing and inventory system (NetSuite)
Experience with shipping and receiving of material and equipment domestically and internationally
Ability to develop an inventory strategy that balances product availability and inventory investment

This is an on-site opportunity that is performed in San Antonio, TX.

US Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $21.63 - $24.03 per year/hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
