SUMMARY


The position of AVP Concierge Banking is responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction in generating, managing and servicing a portfolio of clients who are executives, business owners and persons of influence within our Markets.


In addition, the AVP Concierge Banking assures compliance with all SVB policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal regulations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Generating, expanding and retaining deposit, lending and investment relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop, generate and follow-up on new client leads through existing clients and referrals from other bank departments
  • Responsible for sales, self-management and direct day to day contact with customers in various capacities, understanding their unique needs and requirements, and providing innovative and customized banking solutions specifically tailored for each customer
  • Develop products specifically designed for this level of clientele
  • Actively call/joint call on identified target segments, prospects, centers of influence etc. to lead new business development and client acquisition efforts
  • Outbound relationship building by activating and supporting products and services on site
  • Cross-sell all departments of bank including Investments and Trust
  • Ensure client satisfaction is met or exceeded at pre-planned regular intervals, onboarding, periodic emails or calls, life cycle events, etc.
  • Implementing and following a consistent call strategy with customers on a quarterly basis.
  • Research and recognize trend data to continue to provide value added service to the customer base.
  • Partner with various departments of the bank to educate and train on the products and services offered by Concierge Banking to increase awareness and referrals.

The position of AVP Concierge Banking is not responsible for the supervision of any employee(s).

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY


The environment for this position is an open office that is mostly clean and comfortable. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. The incumbent is in a non-confined office-type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will.


The incumbent in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 30 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.

MENTAL DEMANDS


The incumbent in this position must be able to accommodate to reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions.

  • Bachelors degree or related work experience with complex customer needs preferred
  • Advanced financial skills
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, and speak clearly to customers and employees.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
  • Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

The incumbent must be able to perform this position safely, without endangering the health or safety to him/herself or others.
