Responsibilities

AAA Complete Building Services (CBS) seeks a full-time Journeyman Electricians to support a data center in Manassas, VA. The Journeyman Electrician should have a minimum of four (4) years of experience working as a journeyman electrician in a facility of similar size and type. Within the past seven (7) years, they should have gained comprehensive knowledge of inspecting and repairing electrical equipment used for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy.

Hours are M-F 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

• Troubleshoot, install and repair electrical devices and components
• Read and interpret schematics and wire diagrams
• Utilize multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Install and repair power distribution systems and cables
• Configure control systems
• Familiar with Programmable Logic Controllers
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Must be on-site during assigned hours

• Must be available to respond to on-site emergencies

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass and maintain US Capitol Police background check
• Must possess and maintain an active VA Master Electrician license
• OSHA 30 - if you don't have it, must be able to obtain it within 30 days of employment
• Must possess NETA (National Electrical Testing Association) certification or be willing to obtain within a reasonable time frame
• Operation, troubleshooting, and repair of data center equipment i.e. CRAC units, Remote Power Panels (RPP), PDU's, Switchgear and emergency generators
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Building Operations
• Possess professional demeanor
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-faced environment
