Job Description Summary	The University of South Alabama’s Mitchell Center is seeking to hire a Environmental Service Aide II. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions

Cleans and maintains arena facility to include sweeping, scrubbing, mopping and waxing floors, cleaning windows and fixtures, shampooing carpets, and polishing handrails. Assists with set up of chairs, stages, and/or basketball court for arena events and clean up following events to include evenings, weekends and holidays. Works events which will include exposure to high noise levels Operates a variety of cleaning equipment to include vacuums, waxers, and buffers. Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms. Empties trash cans and places trash in dumpsters. Strips and waxes floors. Maintains outside of buildings by sweeping sidewalks and picking up trash. Moves equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. Regular and prompt attendance. Related duties as required.
