Apply now for the position of Senior Director, Customer Supply Experience - Remote within the US Northeast , and you will own the customer supply experience for our customers in North America. This includes the end-to-end experience covering demand planning, supply allocation, order execution and alongside all, communication with customers during the process of placing an order with us all the way to receiving product from us. You will be leading a team of individuals and collaborate with global and local stakeholders, as well as customers directly.



The role is remote for candidates that are located in the US Northeast. Travel will be required based on business need.



Your role:





  • You will be responsible for improving how we deliver product to customers in an efficient and sustainable manner; OTIF (On Time Delivery in Full) will be the leading metric reflecting your service level improvement efforts alongside with NPS (Net Promoter Score) to reflect how well we do in the eyes of our customers.

  • You will review and continuously monitor the workings of our supply chain end-to-end, from our global manufacturing sites all the way to our local customer sites to identify improvement opportunities and establish actions to drive necessary change.

  • You will gather market intelligence to establish the necessary benchmark in customer supply chain experience and assess internal datasets to derive our current competitive position.

  • You will create a strategy to establish an improved customer supply experience in future that will set us apart from competition; you will use this strategy to inspire the organization with 'what can be'.

  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders at a global and local North American level to advocate for necessary changes and help drive progress with cross-functional teams.

  • You will connect with customers directly to share our continuous improvement efforts to create a more resilient supply chain and gather feedback throughout those conversations that help make sure to think as customer centric as possible.

  • You will implement risk management strategies to prepare us for any potential future supply crisis.

  • You will collaborate closely with our Customer Support and Order Management organization to include them in the end-to-end view of our customer supply experience.

  • Your team will be responsible for developing zone-level demand forecasts for instruments, reagents, and consumables and drive improvements in forecast accuracy.

  • Your team will be responsible for allocating available supplies to customers in a strategic and organized fashion.

  • In this role, you will report to the VP of Customer Experience for the Laboratory Solutions business in North America.


Your expertise:





  • You have proven experience in leading and managing a team of individual contributors (experience managing direct reports).

  • You have proven expertise in driving process and/or supply chain improvements.

  • You have a track record in project management and problem solving.

  • You show a strong customer focus and can connect customer needs to supply-relevant implications.

  • You demonstrate strong decision-making skills and know how to confidently present to and engage with Senior Leadership, internally and externally.

  • You have exceptional communications and interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or related field is required.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is required.

  • Experience in the healthcare and/or in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) business is an advantage.

  • 20% travel required.

The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $270,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (25%) of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
