To realize this, Walmart Sourcing is partnering with Sam's Club in Food and Consumables by establishing a team to support the Member's Mark brand growth crucial to the Sam's Club's strategy.


As a Manager, Sam's Club Food Sourcing, your expertise will allow you to support a specific department within Dry Grocery at Sam's Club. You will have the opportunity to develop complex sourcing strategies for existing products while also working with Product Developers to create first of their kind innovative Member's Mark products. You will work directly with Merchants to ensure critical business metrics are met while influencing future growth strategies to help our members Save Money and Live Better.



What you'll do:

• Manage the sourcing process to build Walmart Sourcing and Merchant strategies for Domestic and Direct Import.


• Manage the oversight of sourcing and operational issues regarding costing and quality of Omni channel.


• Develop supplier relationships.


• Lead identified sourcing opportunities to ensure suppliers capability.


• Guide partners and suppliers to ensure product quality, delivery and price goals.


• Ensure follow up of all sourcing activities with teams and suppliers.


• Analyze data and compile reports.

• You have a passion for developing successful businesses and have an attention to detail in the business fundamentals of sourcing, finance, and supply chain.


• You can build strong relationships with those around you at all levels whether internal or external to Walmart.


• You know what motivates manufacturers, merchants, & customers and can integrate those perspectives into successful business opportunities.


• You are not timid to identify and communicate business priorities to a diverse set of stakeholders.


• You are data savvy: you can analyze business fundamentals, anticipate market changes, and can use that information to make facts-based decisions.


• You are tenacious, dedicated and thrive working with ownership, autonomy, and a healthy dose of competition.

We would love for you to have:

• Global experience in Sourcing, Merchandising or Procurement.


• Bachelor's degree in related field.


• 3+ years' experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing industry.


• 4-6 years' experience in retail or major brand, or importer/agent serving major retail customers.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
‎
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related area.
3 years' experience in sourcing.
Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country.
Project Management certification.
