Bryn Mawr Trust, a WSFS Company, provides locally managed and collaborative wealth management solutions, including a broad array of planning and advisory services, investment management, trust and estate planning, brokerage and investment services to individual, corporate, and institutional clients through multiple integrated businesses.


The Client Service Associate is responsible for providing high level service delivery to Custody clients, Custody Officers, intermediaries and other qualified referral sources and distribution channels. The incumbent will communicate with internal and external clients, including participation in select client meetings.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage multiple time sensitive tasks simultaneously for both internal and external clients. Those tasks include: preparation of account opening and closing forms/paperwork, preparation and mailing of client correspondence, asset gathering at initial account funding, transferring money both internally and externally, paper and electronic filing, paying bills in a timely and efficient manner on behalf of custody clients and/or family offices, gifting and other administrative tasks.

  • Master the account opening process for all Custody accounts.

  • Serve as first point of contact for many family offices and outside investment managers, as well as build and maintain those relationships by providing exceptional client service support.

  • Coordinate client meetings for Custody Officers, and assist in meeting preparation.

  • Manage account cash balances to ensure overdrafts are resolved in a timely manner and coordinate trade settlements with outside advisors.

  • Maintain accurate client data on SEI SWP (core trust accounting system), Orion and OnBase and use each system effectively to support Custody team.

  • Administer complex and precise processes in support of client needs.

  • Contribute with process improvement ideas.

  • Provide back-up and support for retirement services group by processing pension payments and reporting.

  • Initiate client directed trades in Orion for Custody Group clients.

  • Assist in daily support of Orion system thru daily reconciliation process of reviewing Wealth new accounts, closed accounts, new securities and transactions.



Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must have a high school diploma, however a 4-year college degree in business administration, finance or a business related major is highly preferred.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in administrative client service is also preferred.

  • Must have general knowledge of investment markets or account administration.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Experience with a trust accounting and/or investment system is preferred.

  • Must be able to manage priorities, be organized and have an adjustable social style.

  • Must exhibit initiative, and the ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

  • Must have knowledge, understanding and application of fiduciary and investment principles.

  • Must have knowledge of securities processing and clearing, trust & accounting systems, investment systems (Orion specifically), technology to support recordkeeping and payment history (SEI SWP), and interface with Operations Service Partners (SEI and Trust OPS).

  • Must be able to prepare high volumes of account opening paperwork in an efficient manner.
