Job Description:

This is an executive search on behalf of a leading residential specialty subcontractor in Dallas, Texas. The company is a major player in its industry, known for its vertical integration, operational efficiency, and strong relationships with both clients and vendors. With a rich history and a robust track record, the company is poised for continued growth, and we are seeking a President to lead them into their next phase of development.

Position Overview: President

The President will be responsible for leading the Company's strategic initiatives, driving operational efficiencies, and spearheading growth opportunities through both organic expansion and acquisition. This role will require a hands-on leader who can balance strategic vision with practical implementation, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability. The President will work closely with the senior leadership team and the Company's investment partners to ensure long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic initiatives and identify growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions.
  • Optimize operational efficiencies, focusing on process improvements, cost reductions, and lean management.
  • Lead post-acquisition integrations, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with the Company's existing operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and refine strategies that position the Company for continued market leadership.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Candidate Profile:

Must Have:
  • Proven leadership experience managing a P&L.
  • Track record of successfully managing significant business growth in Lower Middle Market or Middle Market businesses.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in team building, hiring, and change management.
  • Expertise in developing and executing business strategies.
  • Acquisition and integration experience
  • Experience in or around the residential construction industry (working with or for homebuilders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.)

Location: North Dallas, TX (Relocation assistance available)

Compensation: $250k base, KPI bonus target of $150k-$200k, and long-term incentives tied to growth opportunities.
