We are seeking a Junior Marketing Insights Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role supports market research initiatives that drive product, brand, marketing, and customer program strategy for our residential business. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity to develop and deliver impactful insights that will drive and support marketing and product strategy.

Summary

The Junior Marketing Insights Analyst - Residential, assists in supporting and managing market research initiatives that drive product, brand, marketing, and customer program strategy. Reporting to the Marketing Insights Manager - Enterprise Solutions, this role requires a self-starter with an analytical mindset and intellectual curiosity to develop and deliver impactful insights that will drive and support marketing and product strategy.

Essential Duties
  • Market Research Support:
  • Assist in planning, managing, and delivering marketing insights projects under the supervision of the Marketing Insights Manager.
  • Support end-to-end research projects, including requirement gathering, defining research approach/methodology, participant recruitment, research instrument development/programming/testing, analysis, and presentation delivery.
  • Assist in crafting questionnaires and discussion guides, leveraging knowledge of survey and discussion guide development best practices.
  • Employ qualitative research methodologies, including moderation of focus groups and in-depth interviews, as well as unmoderated user experience testing.
  • Analyze work and assist in presenting research findings to business owners, providing actionable insights to drive strategy, design recommendations, experience development, and product optimization.
  • Customer Insights and Engagement:
  • Support in-person customer insights brainstorming, co-creation events, and focus groups.
  • Assist in the end-to-end management, execution, and delivery of impactful customer insights engagements, providing insights into challenging business questions and program/experience development opportunities.
  • Support research needs for residential-focused areas, including programs, business services, events, channels, products, and quarry.
  • Assist in managing post-event satisfaction surveys for all customer-facing events, analyzing and synthesizing results, and delivering actionable recommendations to senior management.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of related experience in marketing analytics, marketing research, user experience research, or management consulting.
  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a focus in Statistics, Research, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Human Factors, HCI/CS, Marketing, or General Management.
  • Experience with quantitative research (survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, and statistical concepts) and qualitative/user-centered design methods (individual and group interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing).
  • Experience with marketing research tools/technology, including Qualtrics, Usertesting.com, and other online insights tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong facilitation/moderation skills.
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with strong business acumen and work ethic.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Marketing Research, Customer Experience, or User Experience Research certifications.
  • Experience working in the building materials space or adjacent complex industries/product categories.
  • Experience working with and managing research service providers.
