Position Summary
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform tasks that will support our Director of Finance and Operations and the Ohio Corn & Wheat team. Responsibilities include assisting with the processing of the Ohio Corn Marketing and Ohio Small Grains Marketing checkoff programs. Other duties will include processing membership applications and renewals, answering phones, greeting occasional visitors, and assisting staff as assigned.
Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
? Processing of memberships including: maintenance of member database/data entry, depositing checks and processing credit cards, mailing membership materials
? Administration of the remittance process including: Maintaining database, mailings, processing payments within the financial systems, telephone communications with elevators.
? Processing of invoices
? Managing inventory: Keeping track of office supplies and inventory
? Keeping the office organized: Greeting visitors, managing mail and shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized office
? Managing communications: Answering phones, managing email, and responding to inquiries.
Critical Components for Success
? High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
? Valid driver's license, required.
? Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and managing files and records and other office procedures at a proficient level.
? Must be a fast learner with excellent work ethic.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily deadlines.
? Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask is critical.
? General basic knowledge of and ability to learn project management software and other related programs and systems.
? Work well with others, handle confidential information, and maintain professionalism.

Environment: Work is hybrid at the Ohio Corn & Wheat office in Delaware, Ohio three days per week and remote two days.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 30 lbs.; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
