Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist for a part-time position. As a Speech Therapist at Western Slope Health Center, you will work closely with residents to evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders, enhancing their quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of residents' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.


• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.


• Provide therapy sessions to residents, utilizing evidence-based techniques.


• Monitor and document residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.


• Educate residents and their families on strategies to support ongoing improvement.


• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for residents.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' progress and treatment outcomes.

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state.


• Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.


• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and interventions for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
